Cayenne Pepper

Made from dried Cayenne Peppers and is red hot and spicy.

Chilli pepper has a similar taste and heat to Cayenne Peppers

Cinnamon

Cinnamon

One of the oldest spices and also the most aromatic. It is the bark of a tree and has a brown colour and commonly used as a powder.

Fennel

Fennel has a light liquorice flavour and aroma and is similar to Star Anise

Garlic

Is a pungent spice and adds depth of flavour and seasoning

Ginger

Is similar to Turmeric and is a root based spice. I has a little heat with slightly sweet notes with peppery  undertones.

Mace

Comes from the same seed as Nutmeg and is the covering around the Nutmeg seed. Mace is a milder taste, than Nutmeg, giving sweet hints of lemon.

This is ground from dried bell peppers and has a sweet earthy taste.
